Short bio

Researcher and assistant professor currently working on the topic of biomagnetism and (magnetoencephalography) MEG. I started my research journey by enrolling in undergraduate study program of Physics at the University of Maribor. I completed this study with my graduate work on the field of computational neuroscience and statistical physics. Later I enrolled in graduate study program of Physics at the University of Maribor. The master’s thesis was on topic of complex networks, statistical physics and computational neuroscience with title: “Physiological determinants of critical behavior in a system of coupled excitable oscillators”. After obtaining the bachelors degree I started a job at the position of young researcher at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics (IMFM), this work position is funded by the Slovenian research agency ARRS. At the same time, I enrolled in a doctorate program in Physics at the University of Maribor. At the institute I started to work with my mentor dr. Vojko Jazbinšek in the field of biomagnetism especially on the topic of MEG.
